Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Cardly AI (“Cardly”, “we”) collects when you use the Cardly AI mobile app, the public card and business pages, and the business directory, and how we use it.

1. Information you give us

• Account details: your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash).
• Card and listing content: the details you add to your cards or business listings, such as role, contact actions, services, photos, hours and location. Published content is public by design.
• AI introduction content: the script you approve and any audio or video generated from it.
• Appointments and reviews: requests you send or receive, and reviews or replies you post.

2. Information collected automatically

When someone views a card or listing we record aggregate analytics (views, saves, taps). Visitors are counted with a one-way hash of technical signals so individual visitors are not identified, and duplicate views are suppressed. Analytics are visible only to the card owner and, for team cards, their organisation admins.

3. On-device processing

AI introduction scripts are generated on your device from the fields you have approved. Narration uses voices installed on your device unless you choose a server-generated voice. Location for “near me” search is used only for that search, and you can enter a city instead.

4. How we use information

• To provide, secure and improve the service.
• To show your published cards and listings to the people you share them with.
• To process subscriptions and send service emails such as verification and appointment updates.
• To moderate listings, reviews and reports, and to keep an audit log of administrative actions.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us run Cardly (for example hosting, email delivery and payment processing), when required by law, or with your consent.

6. Retention and deletion

You can export your data or delete your account from the app at any time. Deleted accounts are removed after a short grace period, and analytics are kept in aggregate for a limited time.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise them.

8. Children

Cardly AI is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their information.
